ABOUT ME!
At just 21 years old, Abhik Mazumder is an award-winning pianist, songwriter, composer, producer, and violinist – and one of the most versatile musical artists out there today. Playing the piano since the age of four, he has performed several times in prestigious venues such as Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, and the Vienna House of Music. In recent years he has also featured as a soloist with five different orchestras and shared the stage with some of today's most prominent jazz musicians, including Emmet Cohen, John Raymond, Micah Thomas, Byron Stripling, and Bobby Floyd. On April 23, 2021, he released his debut album, "Windows," which was completed independently in isolation during the COVID-19 pandemic; this was followed up by his studio solo piano EP "Daydreaming" on May 27, 2022.
Drawing influence from an eclectic conglomeration of artists such as Reuben James, Jacob Collier, MARO, and Kiefer; and composers like Eric Whitacre, Howard Shore, Bear McCreary, John Williams, and Duke Ellington, to name a few; Abhik continues to write and produce music in many different styles including folk, classical, jazz and R&B, having already reached a diverse audience worldwide.
Music is available for listening on all major online stores and streaming services!
