About

At just 22 years old, Abhik Mazumder is an award-winning pianist, songwriter, and composer as well as a violinist and burgeoning vocalist. Playing the piano since the age of four, he has performed several times in prestigious venues such as Carnegie Hall and Lincoln Center. He has been a concerto soloist with five different orchestras, and has shared the stage with prominent jazz artists including Emmet Cohen, Jeff Parker, John Raymond, and Bobby Floyd.

Abhik has also produced and released multiple albums and EPs of his own, the most recent being his sophomore album Into the West. These projects showcase a variety of his artistic inclinations including piano, composition, poetry, conducting, arranging, singing, violin, and electronic production. His music transcends genre, incorporating elements of classical music, folk, jazz, Latin American music, and R&B. Drawing inspiration from artists such as Reuben James, Jacob Collier, MARO, and film composers like John Williams and Howard Shore, his music has already reached a diverse audience worldwide.
